Photos of Hack Scribbler™
The publishers of Hack Scribbler’s™ books have long had a policy of providing photographs of their authors. Dr. Scribbler, however, refused to provide a photograph because he prefers to remain anonymous (read “Who is Hack Scribber” to find out why).
The publishers usually honor such requests but, after reading Hack’s manuscripts, they decided to hire a photographer to get a photograph of Dr. Scribbler.
“After reading his manuscripts we realized Dr. Scribbler’s findings would probably offend a great many people,” said a representative of the publishing house who, ironically, preferred to remain anonymous. “We felt compelled to show the readers just who Hack Scribbler is — if for no other reason than to make sure they know who to blame for offending them.”
To obtain photos of Dr. Scribbler, the publishers secured the services of a noted photographer who has considerable experience taking photos of famous people doing really interesting things like, “eating dinner,” and “shopping for shoes.”
Dr. Scribbler has proven to be more illusive than either the publisher or the photographer thought he would be, so the quality of the photos are slightly less than top notch. But, photographers don’t work for free, so the publishers have requested we post what we have.
